Nayyi Navelli Story
Mohini arrives as a bride in a family home in Meerut. Her presence seems to turn a chaotic household into a happier place, but Bantu, her brother-in-law, is not convinced that everything is as it appears.
He begins to suspect that Mohini may be something far more dangerous than an ordinary daughter-in-law. The story builds its central conflict around this suspicion and the family’s response to it.
The premise draws on the Indian folklore figure of the daayan, a supernatural woman often associated with witchcraft. Placing this idea inside a family comedy gives the film a different setting from a conventional horror story.
The official synopsis establishes the central mystery, but viewers looking for the full plot should watch the film rather than rely on an incomplete summary.
