Learn Where to Watch Black Panther the box office hit and award-winning sensation, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, from the comfort of your own home.
Itching to go on another trip to Wakanda, a beautiful country with rich culture and a valuable supply of vibranium? If so, you’re in luck. You can revisit Wakanda and its people in the new action-packed Marvel film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever follows the nation’s next chapter after the death of their fearless leader, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman). T’Challa passed away from an illness that his sister, Shuri (Letitia Wright), tried to cure with a recreation of a special herb that was destroyed in the previous movie by the antagonist, Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), but was unable to complete it in time. As she mourns the loss of her brother, Shuri works alongside her mother, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) to protect her nation from those trying to get a piece of Wakanda’s vibranium.
The movie is designed to be an emotional tribute to the life and legacy of the beloved Chadwick Boseman, while upholding the messages of empowerment and strength that were present in the original film. If you couldn’t catch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in theaters or are just in the mood for a rewatch, you can stream the movie on Disney+ very soon.

Music to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever cast and crew’s ears! The film was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song, “Lift Me Up.” Rihanna fans were thrilled to see this song in the film, as Rihanna has been notably absent from the music scene for years.
The Academy also nominated the film for Best Visual Effects. In addition, the film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
The Terminator Connection?
Can you picture Arnold Schwarzenegger uttering the words “I am the terminator” in Wakanda? Probably not, but The Terminator and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever are connected in an interesting way.
Director, Ryan Coogler, explained that “Terminator 2 is a big inspiration for this movie. Big time.” He goes on to explain that he used The Terminator as a reference for how he approached the villain, Namor, in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, saying, “And you think about what T-1000 wants, and what Arnold Schwarzenegger’s robot wants. They both want John Connor, but T-1000 wants to kill him, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character wants to protect him. That’s the movie. And I look at it like that and also try to spend time with them. Not too much, you know what I’m saying? But enough that you understand where they’re coming from and that you believe them when they make threats.”
So, if you’re watching Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and feeling like you have just enough information to understand Namor, the antagonist, and leader of the underwater kingdom known as Talokan, and his motives you can thank The Terminator for serving as inspiration.
