Rust’s images are the first official public look at the work of the late cinematographer Halina Hutchins. In October 2021, a tragedy occurred on the set of a Western movie in New Mexico when a prop gun operated by actor Alec Baldwin accidentally fired live ammunition, killing Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
