Loki Season 2 Theory Sets Up The MCU’s Real Major Villain Ahead Of Avengers 5
A new theory about Loki season 2 suggests the MCU series will establish the true evil side of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Following the protagonist seen in Loki season 2, episode 4, the Kang variant known as Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors) appears to have been destroyed by temporal radiation. However, it’s possible that this could lead to the emergence of a major villain in the MCU multiverse who would fit in well with the other major MCU villains. Although the TVA had a plan to stabilize the overloading Temporal Loom used to weave together branched timelines, the device exploded in Loki season 2, episode 4, seemingly killing everyone and the whole of reality itself. However, Victor Timely was notably the first to seemingly die, having volunteered to fix the Loom only to be instantly vaporized as a result. However, it’s possible that this is only be the beginning of a new evolution for Timely going forward into the final episodes of Loki season 2 (and perhaps beyond with Avengers 5).
Loki Season 2’s Big Twist May Lead To A More Powerful Kang

With two episodes left of Loki season 2, it’s clear that the cast of the new MCU show will return in some way. However, one has to wonder if Victor Timely will return modified in some way, especially considering how he was vaporized while holding the flow multiplier and the secret archetype. hidden behind it, some have suggested that this could be the first version of Kang’s Multiversal Engine Core seen in Ant. -Man. and Wasp: Quantum. Regardless, the main idea is that Victor Timely will likely evolve, becoming the more shy inventor he’s been in the MCU so far. As we see in Loki season 2, there is fear about what Timely could become. Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) is especially afraid that Victor will become a Remnant “or something worse.” As seen elsewhere in the MCU multiverse, this is definitely a reference to Kang the Conqueror and all the seemingly much more dangerous variants like the Kang Council recently introduced in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. As such, perhaps Victor’s theoretical evolution could help him become a “Prime Kang”, serving as the main villain to defeat in Avengers 5 scheduled for release in 2026.
Why Victor Timely Makes So Much Sense As The Most Powerful Kang

Currently, there is no confirmed fate for Victor Timely, especially after Loki season 2, which cliffhanger episode 4 with his apparent (but possibly temporary) disappearance. However, we are quite worried about what it could become. Likewise, the threat of a coming Multiverse War has also increased dramatically, and references to future Kang variants are emerging as potentially dangerous threats towards the dynasty Kang.As such, Victor Timely could evolve into a very compelling new Kang variant with a higher degree of relatability and sympathetic motivation, setting him apart from other Kangs as a classic MCU big bad. In the same vein as Thanos as a saga-spanning villain, Victory Timely becoming a much bigger and more dangerous “Prime Kang” would be perfect. As seen in Loki season 2, Victor was introduced as a child who was given a trajectory for his life he didn’t exactly choose. Nevertheless, he then became this timid inventor with great ambition that has yet to be fully realized. However, Timely still has some inherent darkness under the surface as seen with his betrayal of Ravonna and Miss Minutes.
