Is Jonathan Majors’ Kang In Loki Season 2?
After being introduced in Season 1 and set to become the next major villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, audiences may be wondering if Jonathan Majors’ Kang will be in Season 2 of Loki. Majors joined the MCU in the season 1 finale of Loki as Kang. Variant He Who Remains, a version of Nathaniel Richards who defeated all the others and kept them at bay by creating the Sacred Timeline. Although Sylvie ultimately killed He Who Remains and unleashed the multiverse, Marvel has made it clear that this won’t be the last viewers see of Kang. Since then, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania introduced another variant, Kang the Conqueror, the main antagonist of Scott Lang and his family. Although this particular version of Kang was defeated by Ant-Man, Quantumania’s post-credits scenes set there contained countless other Kangs across the multiverse. The second scene also revealed that a new version of Majors’ Kang will appear in Loki season 2, but now that the first episode has aired and he has yet to appear, there may be some confusion as to whether Will bad guys appear or not?

Although no trial date has been set at the time of publication, the charges against the actor have sparked speculation about his future in the MCU. Marvel Studios has not commented on the situation, but Loki executive producer Kevin Wright told Variety that Majors’ arrest does not affect season 2 because filming ends in 2022. Wright went on to explain that there have been no discussions about changing the Major’s role in Loki season 2, saying: “No. And that mainly comes from – I know as much as you do now. There is a rush to do anything without knowing how things will turn out. Based on Wright’s comments, it seems like Marvel is waiting to see the final verdict in Majors’ trial before deciding on his future in the MCU. Since the season was completed before Majors’ arrest, the series was not affected and Majors is still expected to appear in Loki season 2.
