Rust’s images are the first official public look at the work of the late cinematographer Halina Hutchins. Hutchins’ widower, Matthew Hutchins, is credited on Rust as executive producer, a designation that was granted after settling a wrongful death lawsuit with Baldwin and other producers. In the wake of the shooting, at least six people, including members of the production team, have also filed negligence lawsuits against Rust’s producers.
